Strong Passwords!

Today Whaea Donna came in and taught us how to create a strong password and why we need a strong password. We need a strong password so that people can’t get into our accounts.

How we create strong passwords. You roll 5 dice 6 times and write down the number you got and the word from the dice were a dictionary. These are random words that are not hard to remember at all. The top 10 most common passwords are 1234,1111,0000,(name), birthdate, address, pet names, and children’s names. Well, that’s all for today hope you learned something today see you tomorrow.

Kia ora this the weekend I went to Christchurch to go see my cousins and for my parent’s meeting. my favorite part was playing add-on with my cousins on the trampoline. Today we played ki o rahi with with Matua Zion. I was in the red team

Ki o rahi is played in 2 teams and has 5 minute quarters with an immediate change at quarter time and a 2 minute break at half time. My favorite part of ki o rahi was playing and running around with all my team mates and getting my energi out.

My mum’s birthday

Hi, today is my mum’s 47 birthday and we have something super special for her. We got my mum a bottle of her favorite Daisy perfume and some new boots from the merchant shop in Whangarei. what I love most about my mum is that she is very funny and cheeky. Tonight we are having takeaways and a Yummy delicious cake.

Today 6 girls from our class did a go-girl program.

Go, Girl is a 6-week girls-only program. Go girls was created by a man named James. James has been to many different schools in the far north and has been talking about what his program is about and what we will be doing in the future. Over the next 6 week we are going to learn soccer, gymnastics and much more! James created some t shirts for us to keep. Go girls is to get girls to try something new and to have fun. Over all I liked it and I cant wait for the next session.

Today is the first day back at tech. We changed groups today. I am now in weaving.

Today we made a flower out of flax.

My favorite part was weaving the flower out of the flax.

Something new I learned was you have to take off the ends of the flax to weave the flower.

What i found most interesting was its hard to scrap the flax with the back of a knife.

my opinion i think my weaving class was very fun and easy for me.

Today is the first day of term 2 and we are straight into mahi.

Today we are learning about ANZAC Day!

We are making Kahoots and Pick a path for the class. I liked learning about ANZAC day because we are learning about history. Something new I learned was Lots of people died at war! Blog you later!

Ag day

Kia ora on September 28 2022 we had ag day at school. My favorite part of ag day was eating and decorating the cupcakes and patting all the very cute animals. My favorite animal was the little puppies the cats and the lams. For ag day my class had to create recycled animal and a habitat for our recycled animals. Before all the animals were judged we had a parade for all the animals. My favorite exhibits that we had to create were decorating cupcakes and eating the cupcakes. for me, I came first for my habitat and was highly commended for my poem.
